How the Scout Loader Works

The Scout Loader destacks a deadpacked bunk one layer at a time and feeds the boards into the Rip Navigator Scout — automatically:

1. Vacuum-lift a layer. A transfer carriage with four vacuum boxes, riding on V-castors and rails, lifts an entire layer of boards off the bunk with vacuum assist — without destabilizing the stack.
2. Even the ends. The layer transfers to an even-end roll case (driven and idle jump rolls) that receives the boards and squares them to an end stop.
3. Feed the line. A lateral chain deck — seven strands, integrated with the Rip Navigator Scout drive — feeds the boards into the optimizing rip line, in step with the Scout.
4. Return the balance. When production needs are met, a partially used bunk can be returned to stock.

The result is an automatic board feeder that turns a deadpacked bunk into a steady, hands-free supply of boards for the Scout — replacing manual loading in a compact footprint.
