  • Cut dimensions don’t match programmed values. If a Select Saw is consistently cutting wider or narrower than its setpoint, blade position calibration is the first place to look.

  3. Inspect blades and collars for damage, debris, or pitch buildup. Calibrating a machine with damaged tooling produces unreliable results.
  4. Check chain race condition — V-pattern wear, side-to-side flat, and chain length. If the chains are worn past spec, calibration won’t compensate. Replace them first.
  5. Confirm the laser stand and reference system are clean and free of dust accumulation that can shift apparent alignment.
