Robotic Dovetail Cell
The RDT1020 is Mereen-Johnson’s newest robotic automation solution for drawer box manufacturing. It combines the company’s proven 1105-H CNC Dovetailer with advanced robotics and 3D vision technology to create a production cell capable of running with minimal operator intervention. The system was recently named a finalist for the 2026 IWF Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award, recognizing its innovation in woodworking automation.
What It Does
Instead of requiring an operator to manually load, orient, flip, and feed every drawer component, the RDT1020 automates the entire process.
